If your a massive Bloc Party fan like myself, the first two albums titled Silent Alarm and A Weekend In The City, were that good and you don't really think that it could get any better. Your damn right. They couldn't even get the respect that they used to have after Intimacy, which led to Kele having to take a break and discover a genre in which he must love that is Dance Pop. Once from the little brain fart he had, it was only a matter of time he needed to get the band back together, he needed to have his band perform again, from that we are here. The new album is called Four entitled after their fourth album release. Four albums in and they are still kicking ass that is for sure.
I'm just going to get straight to it. I love it. I think it is bloody fantastic. Of course their is songs on any album that you skip and these have it, but their is songs that you have to have on repeat one. Like for example Octopus is a great track, but you would skip it for the song Day Four cause that is just Bloc Party.
Stand Out Tracks (In Order):
- Day Four (Track 6)
- Coliseum (Track 7)
- Octopus (Track 3)
- Real Talk (Track 4)
The album expresses what needs to be said, the crappy dance act they had going for them has gone, but now we are back with a vengeance. This is an album you must have if you like indie rock. You have to appreciate the band for going back to their roots.
Please, go buy and purchase this album it is a must have.
Four is now officially available now.
